The shortness of my trip to Norway meant that I wasn't able to travel out into the wilds, but that didn't stop me from seeing the natural wonders of the country.
Oslo isn't a city that excludes nature, but instead is one that seems to be melded into it.
It is surrounded by mountain ranges, interspersed with park and forests and most strikingly of all, it has a fjord running through the middle of it.
It is difficult to properly describe how beautiful a setting it is.
There's a calmness that seems to radiate from the fjord into the rest of the city.
Sitting alone on the banks of the fjord, pondering my existence, I felt at ease with the world. It made all the concerns and worries I had slowly float away with every ebb of the water.
